The Metabaron was originally created by Moebius and Alejandro Jodorowsky in The Incal. Before Jodo drastically expanded the myhtos of the Metabaron lineage with Juan Gimenez in the early 90’s, he and Moebius did this short comic in 1989. It’s been a long time since I’ve read The Metabarons, so I don’t remember if this exactly mirrors the beginning of Gimenez’s run, but the first scene and robot narration device certainly does.
